The People’s Champion is an independent journalism and commentary platform dedicated to examining injustice, challenging institutional failures, and bringing overlooked stories into the public consciousness.
Founded in 2010 by David B. Adams, independent journalist, crime writer, and editor, The People’s Champion was created to give serious attention to the stories too often ignored, dismissed, or buried beneath silence and indifference.
We believe every life has value, every voice deserves to be heard, and every unanswered question deserves scrutiny. Our work focuses on missing and exploited children, wrongful convictions, criminal justice, government accountability, homelessness, racial inequality, and the human struggles too often relegated to the margins of mainstream reporting.
Through investigative research, documented reporting, historical examination, compelling human-interest stories, and unapologetic editorial commentary, we look beyond the headlines to examine the facts, circumstances, and unanswered questions that demand public attention.
Our commitment is to truth, not popularity; accountability, not convenience; and fairness, regardless of whom the facts may implicate. Credible journalism requires more than asking difficult questions. We stand with those whose suffering has been ignored, whose loved ones have vanished, whose freedom has been unjustly taken, or whose circumstances have left them without a platform. We intend to keep asking the questions others may have stopped asking—and to keep pursuing the truth wherever it leads.
