COURTNEY DAVIS FOUND ALIVE: ARRESTED ON FORGERY CHARGES IN UPSTATE NEW YORK

As a Parent like most God Fearing people, I want, hope, and wish the best for my kids. Even after  my children become responsible adults the parenthood won’t stop. I’ll Pray for them and hold their hand, if need be, during their time of trouble. One Bridgeport, Connecticut  mother is preparing to do just that.

The 11 day ordeal surrounding the sudden and very suspicious disappearance of 22 year old Courtney “Skittlez” Davis is now over. The attractive Warren Harding High Grad Mother sounded the alarm close to two weeks ago when “Skittlez”, as she is affectionately known (always eating skittles candy), failed to come home from work one night. The young Bridgeport Native was last seen by a friend as they shared a cab ride home from a local mall where they were both employed. After a frantic plea from young Courtney’s Mother was broadcast on local television, her disappearance story went viral on the Facebook and Twitter Social Networks. Former Teachers, local Congregates, and City Police have been scrambling to track Ms. Davis’ last steps prior to her last sighting. The Cab Driver who picked up the young woman’s fare, was identified through Mall Security Surveillance, and has been under very heavy scrutiny. City Police conducted a long interview with the man and he has reportedly been kept under constant watch. Police investigative efforts regarding the Cabbie were not necessary, because Davis was arrested in Upstate New York near Syracuse today and booked on forgery charges. Only sketchy details have been released surrounding her charges as the Story has just recently broke in local Media. The quick turn of events has many who were very concerned angered by what appears to be a deliberate “disappearance act” by the young woman to avoid criminal prosecution.  I am sure there is a sigh of relief by the Davis Parent, not concerned about her daughter’s alleged crime, and she probably has been to the New York Lock Up where her child is currently being held. Recent News Broadcast regarding the on going investigation into the discovery of 4 woman whose bodies were found 2 days ago in a gated New York Community, probably didn’t help sooth the Davis Parent’s worries. Police involved in the New York homicides cases have alerted Citizens in that Town of a possible Serial Killer on the loose. However, I think the most agonizing period of the Davis Story is the period of time Courtney had gone missing without her Mother having any contact with her. I can’t imagine having to endure this kind of ordeal. No Parent should have to wonder if they will ever see their child again. Also, I can’t help but wonder if the Mother was being completely honest with authorities looking for her Daughter. It is very suspicious that the Davis woman went missing for such along time and the dramatic discovery of her surfacing to face criminal charges. Thank God she was found alive, a rare result, when beautiful young Black Women go missing. I only hope her predicament turns into a fruitful learning experience for her. Sleep good tonight Mother Davis, your baby is in trouble, but she is alive and well. God knows we can do without the untimely loss of another Young Black Child.

Black Child where are you going

Do you know your Mother is looking for you

Black Child what are you doing

They say your running again, is this true

Black Child I want to talk to you

Do you know how much love I have for you
