“It Was A Blatant Lie”: George Zimmernan Tried To Dupe The Court During Bail Hearing And Ordered Back To Jail For Trayvon Martin Murder Case

I must admit that it’s been difficult to endure all of the racist comments by Conservatives, and Gun Advocates that I’ve been reading all over the internet. Many of the comments appear to derive from suburban creeps who fear just about everything in society, and believe that they have the right to bust a cap in everything moving when they perceive fear. You know the kind of people who I’m talking about. The people who lock their car door when a vehicle occupied by a black person pulls along side of them, the little old white woman who clutches her purse tightly when she finds herself alone in an elevator with a man of color, and the kind of people who have never even interacted with minorities while accepting the notion that every person of color is a violent purse snatching thug. The mentality of this group of people hinges on bias, racism, and pure ignorance. Their ideology about this subject is sickening and many are willing to shell out cash to support even the most obvious criminal to help bolster their philosophy related to race hate, privilege, and social status within American culture. The case at issue here is how many within the public have rallied around George Zimmerman, the self-appointed Neighborhood Watch Captain that gunned down an unarmed Trayvon Martin back in February. Almost from the start our country was divided on whether or not Zimmerman was justified in using deadly force on the Martin teen. In general, the vast majority within the public had issue with the account of the only survivor of the conflict that occurred that fateful night. We can debate the merits of this case until the cows come home, but the fact remains that Zimmerman’s failure to use common sense and listen to a request from a trained 911 dispatcher, the encounter that lead to a fatal shooting would not have ever happened. More importantly, the 911 tape that captures the fatal movement with the sound of screams of desperation, a gun shot, and the immediate halt of the cries after the shot was fired clearly demonstrates from a rational person’s perspective that the audible was more than likely coming from the slain youth.  Though the facts were cloudy in the beginning, most of the public didn’t buy Zimmerman’s claims of self-defense in the face of  serious bodily harm or death. Like myself, I believe most of the public felt that Zimmerman killed the Martin teen in cold blood. Even if we consider Zimmerman’s claims, they remain illogical, falls on the most generous consideration regarding self-defense because the teen was unarmed, and while he appeared to have sustained contusions about his head the injuries were non-life threatening. In short, it appears that Zimmerman confronted the Martin kid, got his ass kick, pride busted, and in anger fired his gun killing the teen. I believe Zimmerman was extremely cocky in deciding to use deadly force, because he manifested a mindset that he could get away with it. His previous successful encounters with the criminal justice system couple with his former Judge daddy, helped fuel such arrogance. However, even though his “stand your ground” claim was doubtful at best, there are people within the public who still bought into his bullshit, and did so literally to the tune of $204,000 dollars which was generated from a website Zimmerman created to aid his legal defense funding.  The money was placed in his personal account where Zimmerman even used a portion of it for his living expenses prior to his Bail Hearing, but during that hearing the Zimmermans claimed that they were broke, and told the court that most of the resources that would be used for his bond would come from a loan off his parent’s mortgage. “That was a blatant lie” the prosecutor’s office told a Seminole County judge who agreed, and revoked Zimmerman’s Bail. Additionally, not only was the court made aware of the funds during and after the bail hearing, Mrs. Zimmerman also lied to the court telling the judge she was unaware of how much money had been received in donations, which is simply not very credible because the Zimmermans had already transferred the funds  to their account and used a portion of it prior to the hearing, and their actions which their attorney called “an oversight” is in fact a violation of Florida State Law. Here is Florida’s Statue on false information to the court during Bail hearings:

The 2011 Florida Statutes

Title XLVII
CRIMINAL PROCEDURE AND CORRECTIONS
Chapter 903
BAIL
View Entire Chapter
903.035 Applications for bail; information provided; hearing on application for modification; penalty for providing false or misleading information or omitting material information.—

(1)(a) All information provided by a defendant, in connection with any application for or attempt to secure bail, to any court, court personnel, or individual soliciting or recording such information for the purpose of evaluating eligibility for, or securing, bail for the defendant, under circumstances such that the defendant knew or should have known that the information was to be used in connection with an application for bail, shall be accurate, truthful, and complete without omissions to the best knowledge of the defendant.
(b) The failure to comply with the provisions of paragraph (a) may result in the revocation or modification of bail.
(2) An application for modification of bail on any felony charge must be heard by a court in person, at a hearing with the defendant present, and with at least 3 hours’ notice to the stateattorney.
(3) Any person who intentionally provides false or misleading material information or intentionally omits material information in connection with an application for bail or for modification of bail is guilty of a misdemeanor or felony which is one degree less than that of the crime charged for which bail is sought, but which in no event is greater than a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
History.—s. 39, ch. 82-175; s. 41, ch. 84-103; s. 80, ch. 2004-265.

These recent developments in the Zimmerman criminal court case comes on the heels of other disturbing details that depict George Zimmerman’s intent on misleading the court. Prosecutors also recently disclosed jail house audio tapes which reveal Zimmerman discussing a second Passport she discovered, with Zimmerman overheard telling his wife, “you hold on to that”. A condition of Zimmerman’s Bail release was that he turn over his passport to authorities, a routine order by the court to eliminate the potential of international flight risk by defendants who seek to avoid prosecution of criminal charges. The established attempt by Zimmerman to conceal the existence of another passport should weigh heavy on the continuance of his bail if any at all by the court. Moreover, the money they claimed they forgot about along with the passport element of Zimmerman’s Bail Hearing has cast even more credibility on Zimmerman’s character as well  as his candor related to this entire case. Quite frankly, George Zimmerman is bare face liar that believes his social status and family’s political influence will get him out of this situation. Social Media moguls following this case have dug up Myspace comments by Zimmerman from 2005 which show him making racial comments about Mexicans with in his former Manassas, Virginia community. The findings are very telling, especially since the 911 tapes from the night he killed the Martin teen has him captured clearly saying, “fucking coons”, which could result in a Federal Indictment for a hate crime, and could result in a prison term of 25 years to life. A little research on George Zimmerman will also disclose tweets and other comments on Social Media with him bragging about how he beat previous criminal charges of assaulting a police officer, and domestic violence. “Every time I go to court I beat it”, is what he exclaimed in one rant on Social Media, and offers a glimpse inside Zimmerman’s invincible mindset that he personally fosters. Zimmerman appears to believe that his extremely clever, more so than the police, and his own attorney. Fortunately though, some of his lies are finally catching up to him, and it now remains to be seen if his pie faced followers will come to grips with the credibility issues that continue to linger around him. Hell, even the cops thought that Zimmerman should have been charged that night. The conscious public that knows all about  how the game is played within the American Criminal Justice System haven’t forgotten that Florida’s Attorney General drove over 50 miles to intervene in this case that resulted in Zimmerman not being arrested that night, and more than likely was a direct result in Judge daddy picking up the phone and calling in a favor for his boy. “Oversight” my ass, lock him back up before trial, and do it before he uses that second passport to flee the country.  I wonder how those money giving supporters feel now knowing that their donations have yet o even be used for his defense. A defense that most certainly could fail. Don’t be outraged now. You should have used common sense which is exactly what got George Zimmerman into this situation the night he shot and killed an unarmed teen.

Curtis Shuler Jr. Case Is Beyond A Reasonable Doubt: How Can A Man Serve Life Without Parole For A Crime In Which He Was Acquitted

The entire world is aware of the injustice that occurred in the Rueben “Hurricane” Carter case that sent the former Champion Boxer to state prison for nearly 2 decades for a murder it was later determined he did not commit, the Mumia Abu-Jamal conviction for killing a Philadelphia Police Officer in the early 80’s is  a case for reasonable doubt that he ever even killed anyone, and the story of Troy Davis who was put to death for murdering a Police Officer by the state of Georgia in a case which many also believed he to was innocent. These are just a few of the more well-known cases of injustice in our country. Time and time again we find criminal cases within the American Justice System that seemingly fail African-Americans and other people of color as a standard operating procedure when interpreting the laws of the land. Unfortunately, we see here in America that many state criminal cases blatantly railroad black people in criminal courts, show a distinct disparity in cases that their white counterparts are similarly situated by having lesser sentences handed out, and in the slightest appearance of guilt by blacks  routinely result in defendants being sentenced to the maximum under the law. This of course is if the defendant has actually been convicted of the charges that the state has brought against them. You would think that any criminal case where the defendant has in fact been acquitted of felony murder charges, that life in prison would be the most unlikely result of his case, right? No, wrong! Now here comes the case of Curtis Shuler Jr., a man now serving life without the possibility of parole in a Florida State prison for murder. Some how the jury was able to find him guilty on a lesser count of attempted burglary all along while acquitting him of the felony murder count. In fact the sworn Jury Foreman even read this statement at his trial:

“We, the jury, find as follows as to Count 2 of the charges. The defendant is guilty of attempted burglary, a lesser-included offense to that charged in the indictment, and we further find that the defendant did not carry, display, or use a firearm, and we further find that the defendant did not make an assault or battery on Larry Steven Tyler or John Steven Green.”

Shuler was charged with Premeditated First Degree Murder on a victim that a ‘sworn’ jury ‘Acquitted Him’ of. The jury never found him guilty of killing the victim. In fact the jury acquitted him of  ‘essentially every element’ that constitute the crime Of premeditated murder. Yet instead of following state and federal laws when it comes to legally inconsistent verdicts the prosecutor persuaded the judge to find him guilty as charged and the court adjudicated him guilty despite the judge’s confusion as to the verdict. Federal and state law requires that verdicts rendered like this ‘require acquittal” . Instead, Shuler was sentenced to  a life sentence without benefit of parole for a murder he was never convicted of doing. He was wrongfully convicted and railroaded by the state. This particular case is important for several reasons. First, it highlights the unjust and unethical application of the felony murder rule. Approximately half of the states in America allow a person to be convicted of first degree murder, even if the jury believes the person did not commit the act of murder. This is possible because in many states if a person is charged with murder and another felony, such as aggravated assault or burglary, the jury only need find the person guilty of the lesser felony offense for the individual to receive an egregious sentence, such as life without parole. However, the manner in which the state of Florida adjudicated   the Shuler case is contradictory not only to precedent, but the state’s statue for a charge of this nature, and many within the legal community have expressed the point that Shuler’s case should have been a mistrial at the very maximum. The argument is simple. How can a man be found guilty of a lesser charge in a carjacking, murder, robbery case, and be found innocent of the more serious charges. As precedent in the State of Florida as well as other states in this country, defendants acting in harmony during the commission of a felony are charged along with the actual perpetrators. The confusion comes when the jury seemingly agrees that Shuler was there during the crime and participated (i.e. attempted burglary)  The jury acquitted Shuler on the more serious charges, but found him guilty on a lesser charge, which is something the court was restrained on during the sentencing phase of the Shuler case. The jury did not believe that Curtis committed the murder. Instead, the jury found him guilty on the lesser charge of burglary. The problem was that under the felony murder rule if a person is found guilty for the additional felony charge, they are penalized for murder component of the charges as well.  The charges go hand in hand, but the jury’s findings were improperly adjudicated or the jury instructions were not explicit at the very least. The jury can not find defendants in Capitol Murder cases guilty only of lessor charges in the state of Florida when the defendant acted in harmony with others during a crime of premeditated murder. This confusion should have been clarified by the sitting Judge of the case. Instead of following precedent and state law, the judge was coerced by the prosecutor to hand down a maximum sentence of life without parole. I am wondering why this jury found Curtis innocent of murder, but found that he was there during the commission of an attempted burglary, that ultimately led to Capitol Murder. What’s equally troubling about the Curtis Shuler case is that he judge sentenced him to life without the possibility of parole even with a sworn jury’s verdict clearing him of murder, a rare finding when we consider the fact that all parties involved in heinous criminal acts of this nature generally are found guilty of the more serious crimes as well. Why didn’t the judge query the jury about their findings. In fact I am not even sure if the Court can rule as it did, which is clearly an egregious abuse of the court’s sentencing discretion. This case is textbook for depicting the unfair manner in which criminal cases against blacks are often meted out in the American Criminal Justice System. I will be conducting further investigations into the Curtis Shuler Jr. story to aid in exposing this bizarre case which hopefully help gain his freedom. Curtis has written two books since his incarceration: “I Became Another Man” and “Never Has A Road Been So Dark”. The books can be purchased on Amazon.com. Please support Curtis and his family as he is in desperate need of funding for his legal representation. Meanwhile ‘ll continue you to research his case, and bring more publicity to this interesting story.

Unclouding The Facts In The Barnes Teen Murder Case: Why Suspicion Lingers Around Barnes Family

For the record George Tazz Keys and other members of the Maryland based branch of the Guardian Angels should be afforded heartfelt gratitude for their efforts in helping locate missing teen Phylicias Barnes, and I personally tip my hat to them all. With that being said, Janice Sallis-Mustafa never bashed the group on the May 10th broadcast of WBRG ‘The Bridge”. During the show she was asked about how she felt about the Guardian Angels involvement in trying to locate her daughter. Mrs. Mustafa simply offered what her experience was while she was there with boots on the ground searching for Phylicia. The caller who tried to use the Mustafa’s absence during other searches as an indication that the parents themselves failed Phylicia, is a disturbing and cheap attempt to deflect from those who are actually to blames for this entire senseless tragedy. The perspective that attempts to tarnish the dedication that many have displayed in this case is simply absurd. To imply that those concerned citizens who were never there to actually help look for Phylicia, those who did not sign the petition to help enact “Phylicia’s Law” establishes a lack of concern on the part of the public, is a failed effort to diminish the interest that many have shown about the Barnes killing. These allegations couldn’t be more far from the truth. The public has participated in the Phylicia Barnes murder case from behind the scenes. Citizens have contacted law enforcement involved in the investigation, and followers of the case as far away as California have even sent in valuable information to TPC. The disadvantage of not being local to the city of Baltimore never discouraged people who held Phylica’s killing close to their heart. I don’t believe that the intelligent followers of this case will allow such nonsense to gain any momentum what so ever. In fact, with all of the circumstances related to this case having been made public, those who even attempt to create negative perceptions of the Mustafa family after they have lost their precious daughter only establishes further suspicion, and garners even greater support for the child’s grieving family. The suspicion of the Barnes family is not only growing but justified to say the very least. Let’s recap some disturbing facts about this case.

1. The “Peas In Their Pod” interview with the Barnes older-siblings was very alarming from the gate. The illogical sequence of events offered by Deena and Kelly Barnes which led up to Phylicia’s disappearance was central to why the public became concerned. The laughter and whispering overheard in the background during the interview depicted a careless family which raised doubt about the authenticity of their account, and angered many who believed that their demeanor wasn’t consistent with a family who encountered a missing child.

2. The fact that Phylicia went to work every day with one of her older half-siblings, and was left alone on the day that she went missing was a very telling factor from the very start. Chiefly Kelly Barnes’ failure to go by Deena’s apartment for a planned hair appointment signaled a red flag, and the question “why didn’t Kelly go by the apartment” remains the most consistently asked question in the entire case.

3.The fact that a sleeping Phylcia was left alone on December 28, 2010 with other male for the first time during her visit, and all along while Michael Johnson had keys to the apartment created access & vulnerability to the child, and could easily be interpreted from a rational person as possibly having been done so deliberately.

4. On the day Phylicia disappeared both Deena and Kelly admitted that they lost contact with the child during the late morning hours, yet there was never a sense of urgency on either of the women’s part to confirm the child’s personal safety. More importantly, the fact that neither of the adult female half-siblings went by to physically check on Phylicia who was left alone with adult males until nearly six hours later that day, tends to imply that both Deena and Kelly Barnes may have had advanced knowledge regarding the immediate well-being of their supposed minor kid sister.

5. The allegations of Phylicia having been exposed to drugs and alcohol by Deena, her denying such claims, and later having been revealed that her friends known to frequent her place indulged in such activity on a regular basis has stigmatized Deena’s credibility, and establishes that she more than likely had in fact introduced the teen to such culture.

6. When Deena allegedly first learned that Phylicia was missing she never called the child’s mom to inform her, but telephoned the child’s biological father in Atlanta. The information from those close to Phylicia in Baltimore which came out in the initial stages of her disappearance created confusion that resulted in the police not taking the child’s disappearance seriously, and may have bought time for those responsible for what happened to Phylicia.

7. The searches that began for Phylicia prior to anyone having knowledge that the child may be in danger is both alarming and telling to say the least. The actions of the Barnes family described by the child’s mother Janice Sallis-Mustafa after Phylcia had gone missing depicted a scenario where by people had apparently already concluded that something bad happened to Phylicia Barnes.

8. Russell Barnes’ possible involvement in his daughter’s disappearance and murder has not exactly been established for the following reasons:

a. Russell gave a televised interview which was witnessed by both Janice and Raheem Mustafa, in which Russell alleged that Phylicia had come to visit him at his home, and left his home to get something to eat. This scenario was impossible because Russell Barnes lives in Atlanta, Ga and Phylicia had gone missing in Baltimore City. Russell’s false statement clearly demonstrates that he was attempting to create confusion about Phylicia’s whereabouts for some unknown reason.

b. Russell told Michael Johnson to disappear before the cops even had the opportunity to speak with him regarding Phylicia’s disappearance, a disturbing fact because Michael was reportedly the last person to see the child on that day, and the rationalization offered by Russell Barnes that he told him to get lose because he might kill him is simply not very credible.

c. Russell Barnes contacted his half-brother,  a Baltimore City Police Sargeant who showed up and intervened in an unofficial capacity which created an immediate conflict of interest, and is a terrible blunder that both of these adult males should reasonably have known would be problematic for this case.

None of the facts that I have pointed out in this article were fabricated by me or anyone else from the public, but rather were extracted from comments made by the Barnes family themselves. In what appears to be a diligent effort to cover for family members who may have had knowledge regarding what happened to Phylicia, it’s easy to create confusion regarding the initial events that led up to this entire tragic ordeal. Had Phylicia been supervised properly none of this would never have happened, and for people to have the audacity to infer wrong doing on the Mustafas is beyond comprehension. I even wonder if those creating innuendo and other disparity toward the child’s parents characters realize how idiotic they really appear. Moreover, the above listed facts are only the primary instances that got the ball rolling resulting in public suspicion. It wasn’t until Janice Sallis-Mustafa bravely revealed the abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of Russell Barnes that established for the public just how much of a creep he really was, and helped many resolve in their own minds that Russell as well as hsi older kids just may possibly be capable of a such heinous crime against Phylica Barnes. Also, Janice never created a theory in which she believed that the entire case was a conspiracy to kill Phylicia orchestrated by Russell Barnes to get at her. Janice only said that she wouldn’t doubt it if some one told her that, which further illustrates the depth of her suspicion regarding Russell, and decades after having been allegedly beat by him in an effort to terminate her pregnancy while carrying Phylicia.  Perhaps I failed to convey her perspective accurately, and for that I personally apologize. However, the questionable circumstances surrounding this case by Barnes family members, coupled with the mom’s domestic abuse claims, we must consider any possible scenario that suggest the Barnes wanted to harm the child. For example Deena Barnes has continuously denied exposing Phylicia to drugs and alcohol, even if she didn’t which I personally seriously doubt, why would she allow her friends and ex-boyfriend’s family who were known alcoholics and drug users to even be around the child. That was really poor judgment, but to allow her pretty baby sister to take off her clothes and run around nude with her so-called ex, and his family & friends, and to have the presence of mind to capture the activity via camera appears to have been scripted for a purpose. I am convinced that the nude images taken of this studious child was done so to preempt or trump her ever disclosing to her parents what exactly was going down at her freaky older half-sisters apartment. This perspective reminds me of a comment Michael Johnson made on Facebook very early on in the case when he stated, “Deena should just tell Phylicia’s mother what was going on at the apartment”. That comment raised many eyebrows at the time, because it was telling and potentially offered a glimpse into the demons that Deena Barnes may hold related to Phylicia’s murder, and also may be why others are staunchly supporting the Barnes family. The fact that Michael Johnson held on to nude pictures of Phylicia, allegedly Deena, and himself while the cops were actively investigating her disappearance seems that he at the very least wanted that element of the case made public, because he knew the impact it would have on Deena. The perception being created that implies Janice’s comments suggesting others involvement may hurt the case against Johnson is pure bullshit. Janice has never said that she doesn’t believe Johnson isn’t guilty, she has expressed that she believes that he didn’t act alone, which is a perspective also widely held by many within the public. So lets keep the facts straight, and stop trying to create diversions from  the truth. Don’t make me out to be the bad guy, this case isn’t about me, and if the Barnes females didn’t want the public hinged on their every word then they should have acquired an attorney like Johnson cleverly did from the very start. Ultimately, when it’s all said and done I am convinced that most from the public will remember that Phylicia Simone Barnes was killed by her sister’s lifestyle and those she allowed unabated access to her. To Janice Sallis-Mustafa on behalf of all of us here at The People’s Champion, rest today assured that Justice continues for your beautiful daughter. Happy Mother’s day Mrs. Mustafa. God speed.

An Infamous Caller Attacks Late Barnes Teen Mom: Disputes Guardian Angel Involvement And Defends Russell Barnes

WBRG Talk Show Host John Robinson made it clear as he set the stage for a rare interview with Janice Sallis-Mustafata to discuss her daughter’s murder case. Robinson declared the May 10, broadcast to be all about the late teen’s mom, and extended an open forum so she could have her say about what she thought may have happened to her beautiful child. Janice spoke the majority of the time as the public indulged her in what must still be a horrific ordeal to have to endure, but the mom pressed on taking calls from concerned citizens who have been following the Phylicia Barnes murder story. Though must callers chimed in with compassion, support, and admiration of her courage, the grueling ridicule and criticism that has also followed the child’s mother wasn’t absent from the show’s participants. Mid-show a caller from Baltimore emerged as the only negative commenter the entire night. The male expressed concern that Janice’s comments were inconsistent and contradictory. He raised issue with a statement Janice made in which she stated, “there was only one Guardian Angel that helped us search for Simone while we were in Baltimore. She called other GA, but none of them ever showed up”. There has been a variety of reports in media that highlight the Maryland based public watch-dog group’s direct involvement from the very early stages of the Barnes teen case. The caller took Janice’s statement out of context. The mother didn’t appear to bash the group, she simply expressed what she experienced, and she even extended her gratitude to the group related to their efforts in assisting to help locate her missing child.  The caller’s apparent real motive for the call into the show became clear as he began to criticize Janice for not staying in Baltimore to help search for Phylicia. His call was cut short by the show’s co-host which in my mind was very appropriate. The show’s format had been established from the onset of the broadcast, and the comments were also derogatory and appeared to have been deliberately made to agitate Mrs. Mustafa. Some listeners have even expressed that the caller sounded like Bryan Barnes, the older male have-sibling of Phylicia. The caller wasn’t satisfied with not having had the opportunity to continue to berate Janice, and has since appeared here on TPC making other comments in the discussion forum of the blog. The Infamous Caller as he self proclaims, has continued to express his disdain for the mother of Phylicia Barnes while also defending Russell Barnes. In what initially appeared to be “glory seeking” for the Guardian Angels, has actually turned into support for the Barnes family. The caller went on to say that Janice’ theory about a conspiracy by Russell Barnes didn’t make sense. Now having had the benefit of not only participating but also listening to the entire broadcast, I am firm on my belief that the “Infamous caller” was in fact a close affiliate of the Barnes family, if not Bryan Barnes himself. perhaps for the benefit of readers I should offer a perfect perspective of what actually was said during the show, and co-host Corliss King summed it best in this comment response here on TPC:

I am going to try to reason with you one more time. You chose to attack our show in this forum and on our show instead of you using your time to express a salient point (perhaps…I agree with some of what Janice says, however what good will it do the case to bash the Barnes family in the media? etc). Instead you chose to attach her (“where were you when WE were out looking?!?!”). If you and anyone else that cares to hear exactly what happened you can find the rebroadcast on www.Blogtalkradio.com/wbrgthebridge. You seem to be defending rather staunchly the Barnes family yet you say you have no vested interested in the parties. What is undisputed is that for you to be looking for Phylicia before the police, implies to me that you seem to have some advance knowledge of the situation. How is it that you were even made aware to begin looking so very quickly? If you are somehow involved with their family, say that. I would have better respect for your position if that were clear and the case. But to attack our show and platform because you chose to attack Janice Mustafa there and again on here speaks volumes to me. I TRULY don’t know any of the parties but I do know that if you want to be heard or taken seriously as an impartial observer the best route for that is NOT to imply inaction or lack of concern by these parents when ground zero for this happening to Phylicia rests SQUARELY in the laps of the family there who agreed to keep her safe.

One more note. You nor I may not see the value of bashing the Barnes family in the media. But you NOR I have entrusted our child to people who not only didn’t keep her safe but if Janice is accurate didn’t even call her to tell her that her child was missing. If I were her perhaps I wouldn’t be as concerned about decorum for the Barnes family when the accused murderer was allowed access to my daughter at will. Again not a playbook for this.

To further expound on Mrs. King’s perspective, it should be noted that the searches for Phylicia having began prior to the police actively looking for her, not only seems peculiar, but Russell Barnes himself having directed Michael Johnson (the sole person arrested for her killing) to disappear before the cops showed up is beyond suspicious. Not just that though, but it has also been established that Russell telephoned his half-brother (a Baltimore Police Sargeant) who showed up and began questioning people who may have held valuable information regarding the child’s whereabouts. This ill-advised interrogation of potential witnesses serves to aid the defense of Michael Johnson during trial, and could result in the initial statements of possible perpetrators being thrown out of court. These actions by a Baltimore Police Officer who is a working supervisor, appears to be predicated on intimidation, and questions the authenticity of a serious effort to find Phylicia which the Barnes family claims was their interest when she went missing. Regardless of any argument that has already been offered in Phylicia’s killing, these facts pertaining to this case supports and justifies Mrs. Mustafa’s perspective of possible culpability by Sgt. Jackson and other members of the Barnes family who were primary to the scene of the missing child report of Phylicia Barnes. Also, if we disregard the strained history of Janice’ relationship with Russell Barnes, who she has continuously conveyed tried to beat Phylicia out of her because he didn’t want another child,  the failure of the Barnes siblings to successfully care for Phylicia under their watch is in my mind the most horrific element of this case. Rather than crying about who helped search for the child, there should be more effort in determining how such a tragedy could have ever been allowed to occur in the first place. Whether the “Infamous Caller” wants to understand and comprehend or not, there remains many within the public who also continue to be suspicious of the  Barnes family along with the Mustafa family. Moreover, the attacks launched upon the Mustafas has always been from those close to the Barnes family. Those who have full knowledge of what we have discussed about Phylicia’s murder here on TPC, other Blogs, and by mainstream media have never attacked the child’s parents as if they actually killed her themselves. I am not aware of such allegations ever having been made, but insensitive people who have made it a point to attack the Mustafas apparently have motive to do so, and it’s a no brainer that such tactics are clearly meant to distract, deflect, and camouflage the facts pertaining to those who are directly responsible for Phylicia’s murder. It’s disturbing that the negative comments continue when the child’s death was caused by the inaction to properly watch after Phylicia by Deena Barnes herself. Deena has never defended herself from what many have charged her with. In fact I offer her the opportunity to express her perspective here on TPC, and I am sure WBRG “The Bridge” as well as other media affiliates would welcome such discussion with her. “The Infamous Caller’s” claims that our coverage of this case is one-sided, is inaccurate because I have interviewed Bryan Barnes, and I welcome his father, sisters, and anyone else who possess a genuine desire to get to the truth regarding what happened to young Phylicia Barnes. The sickening and subjective position by those who continue to support the Barnes family and while attacking the mother related to her slain child’s case, only highlights ignorance on their part and remains a preposterous perspective, by individuals who want to cloud the facts and conceal the truth.

Barnes Teen Mom Crazy Woman Theory Resolved: Janice Sallis Interview Established Consistent Perspective That She Has Shared All Along

Those within the public that listened to the interview of Janice Sallis-Mustafa on WBRG “The Bridge” Blogtalk Radio which aired Thursday night, heard for themselves much of what TPC has published already about the murder case of Phylicia Barnes.  Her comments were consistent, and she even had the domestic abuse claims that she allegedly suffered at the hands of her ex-husband Russell Barnes, confirmed by a childhood friend who called in during the show’s broadcast. Janice’s girlfriend stated, “Janice is not a liar, and everything that she said Russell did to her is true, because she was telling me about it while it was happening. That’s the reason they got divorced because he didn’t want Phylicia. I couldn’t believe he was treating her like that while she was pregnant”. The calls filtered in from around the nation, though most opted to simply listen to the broadcast, and the mood was clearly established that there continues to be a public outcry for the pain the Mustafa family has endured throughout the entire ordeal that culminated in the lost of such a beautiful, intelligent, and promising child. The specifics of the case were not discussed in length, but Janice made it clear that she also holds the “half-siblings” accountable for what happened to Phylica. One caller even put it into perspective by saying, “even if they wasn’t involved in her actual killing, they are responsible for not doing what they said they would do while caring for her”. The best part of the entire interview was that the public had the opportunity to hear from Janice and were able to measure her personal and emotional progress since the beginning of her daughter’s case. She admittedly revealed that she has been undergoing counseling to cope with this tragedy, and taking yoga classes to help heal the wounds that the lost of her child has inflicted upon her. Her voice resounds with strength, courage, and epitomizes the depth of a mother’s love for her offspring. All of the negative comments about Janice must now be put to rest simply because she was very competent and focused in the midst of such a challenging upheaval. Having heard from this grieving mom, it should be clear to those with intelligence that her plight is simply marred by tragedy, and the process of overcoming such an ordeal is continuing to develop. Nothing has changed in her story and it continues to cast serious credibility on the Barnes’ perspective about this case. The show took a slight detour when a caller appeared with critical questions for Janice, that challenged her actions while searches were being conducted for Phylicia. The caller raised concerns that she had left the city and disputed claims that Janice had made about non-involvement by the Guardian Angels.  The caller also sounded like it could have been Bryan Barnes, Phylicia’s older male half-sibling, but he was quickly shut down by the show’s co-host Corliss King who fiercely argued that no one can establish as a standard the actions that victims of tragedy should display. Corliss highlighted the courage it must have taken for Janice to remove herself from the situation for the benefit of her daughter’s case. However, most callers chimed in with compassion, understanding and prayed for the Mustafas, and acknowledge that they also wanted justice for the murder of Phylicia Barnes. The Show ended with an extremely rare appearance by the normally reserved Raheem Mustafa, who also called in to get a piece of the agitating caller. Raheem has been silent for the most part, but his actions is indicative of the role he continues to play in the Mustafa family as the protector and leader of his household. We have already began plans to have the Mustafas back on the air as the murder case of Phylicia Barnes progresses, but for now we can all rest knowing that Janice, Raheem, and the Mustafa remaining children are progressing well after the onset of such a horrible tragedy. We pray for their peace, closure, and their recovery in the quest for justice in the senseless murder of their child, the late Phylicia Simone Barnes. Listen to the entire entire interview below:

A Quest For Justice: Janice Sallis-Mustafa Says If She Could Help Save Just A Half Of A Person From Enduring Her Pain She Would Be Satisfied

You’ve read articles here on TPC, other Blogs, and saw interviews on major television networks about the Phylicia Barnes murder case. A year and some change has passed since the Mustafa family lost their beautiful and studious teenage daughter to the violent and perverse streets of Baltimore City, an arrest has finally been made in the child’s killing, but her mother, and others within the public are not satisfied. Though many were not shocked by the arrest of Deena Barnes’ ex-boyfriend Michael Johnson, it’s widely believed that more arrest should be made, and more specifically the child’s older half-sister Deena Barnes as well as others who paraded around “streaking” nude with the minor at the Northwest Baltimore apartment building where Phylicia was staying with her father’s family over the Christmas Holiday of 2010. At her husband’s direction Mrs. Mustafa had left the public’s eye so that the family could grieve and morn the lost of their child. Janice has refused television interviews because they do not quote her accurately or reword what she has said to shape the perspective that they want to portray about this murder case. Finally, the Mustafas have emerged once again to continue the fight for justice. The Mustafas are unmoved by critics who attempt to place blame for Phylicia’s murder on them, and in a rare public appearance Janice plans to express what she has felt all along regarding what happened to her child. You won’t want to miss the next broadcast of “The Bridge” on WBRG Blogtalk Radio hosted by the lovely Ms. Corliss King, and the very distinguished Mr. John Robinson. The time has come for this mother to have her say has arrived. Call in to participate (646) 381-4789  or log on at http://www.wbrgthebridge.com. The show airs at 9:00-11:00 EST. I’ll See you all on “The Bridge”.

Janice Sallis Is The Villain In Her Late Daughter’s Murder?: Apparent Barnes Family Followers Attempt To Blame Phylicia’s Mother For Her Death

Deena Barnes is all smiles while holding her niece (Kelli Barnes daughter) at the Maryland State Capitol in Annapolis after sate lawmakers passed "Phylicia's Law". Maryland adopted the legislation after honors student Phylicia Barnes was murdered while under Deena's care (what a scary sight seeing Deena holding a child)

In all of the Blogs, Social Media Forums, and Radio Broadcast that I have either read or listen to, the vast majority of followers of the Phylicia Barnes murder case have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the Mustafa family regarding their lost in such a senseless tragedy. Many of us who view this case with an open mind know that if not but for the grace of god, there go I. Considering the violence that plagues American culture in modern time, this kind of crime can impact any of us, without warning, and we can only pray that justice will be done. Baring those of us who have lost loved ones to violence, we cannot even began to empathize with families who have had to bury their children.  When such horrific events occur the psychological impact on grieving families is devastating to say the least. People experiencing  such anxiety may never overcome the darkness that followers when death comes knocking. There are those who will argue with the slightest expression of compassion, that death is in fact a part of life, and few will debate whether their perspective holds truth. I am inclined to point out that people’s reaction to death varies based on their emotions and ideology related to the living experience we all innately manifest as human beings. Those of us who have and love kids know that recovery from the death of a child is an event many fail to achieve. We show compassion, understanding, and many pray for those who have lost people close to them. It’s a sense of decency to show such expression because we to are also human, but no matter how heinous a crime is that results in the violent death of others, there are those who seem to make it a point to rear their heads with viciousness, hatred, and display a lack of compassion for families whom have lost loved ones. Perhaps some are wired differently from the rest of humanity, but none the less their self-proclaimed candor is often times conveniently very untimely with seemingly cruel and superficial intent. The fact that comments are being made which directly imply that Janice Sallis-Mustafa is just as responsible for her late daughter’s death is disturbing, an uninformed perspective which clearly demonstrates that some people not only lack wisdom in making such preposterous claims, and the source of such discourse can only have derived from parties associated with the same morons responsible for the murder of Phylicia Barnes.  With that being said, I should add that the only thing this mother is guilty of is trust. Trusting the child’s adult half-sister with properly caring for her loving daughter under her care, is exactly what Janice and other parents around the world are also guilty of. However, most adults charged with such responsibility don’t give the kids drugs & alcohol, allow them to run around nude with their adult friends, and most importantly they don’t allow the child to end up floating in a river. I mean let’s be realistic about this. We can’t possibly believe that this mother knowingly allow her child to walk into harms way. Phylicia Barnes was a 16-year-old honor student who mentored her peers, and had a job. Some of the very assholes either living or hanging out around Deena Barnes’ apartment didn’t even work in a pie factory. It’s safe to say the environment Phylicia was exposed to in Baltimore was a complete culture shock to her. The child’s older half-brother, Bryan Barnes told TPC that his kid sister was hyper, fun, and everyone wanted to be around her. The child thrived socially everywhere she was, but there are those who say it’s Janice’ fault for allowing Phylicia to visit Baltimore, and that she should have known about the activities going on at Deena’s place. How so? The child had visited Baltimore five times prior to the trip that resulted in her death, and each time she returned home without any indication that there was a problem. I want one of these intelligent people who knows everything to explain to me how this mother should have known what was going on. The fact that Janice was told by one of Phylicia’s friends the child had talked about drugs and alcohol, shows Phylicia herself purposefully avoided telling her mom what she had been allowed to engage in while visiting Baltimore, because the child knew her strict mother would have terminated any further visits. While people are quick to beat up on Janice calling her a bad parent, they either ignore or are ignorant to the fact that Deena Barnes lied to the child’s mother from the very start. Deena told Janice only she and Phylicia would staying at her place. This lie was the sole factor that Janice even allowed Phylicia to visit. There is no way in hell this kid would have gone to Baltimore had the truth been known by Janice Sallis-Mustafa. Janice herself described her daughter as naive and her own street knowledge from having come up in the gritty South-Side of Chicago would have kicked in and her daughter would have never made the trip. They say that Janice seems “out there”, that she is rambling on, and that she is playing the blame game. Really? Are you kidding me? How many people have a straight A student child, that wants to work, and is preparing to leave high school early? I guess Janice didn’t have anything to do with that. I guess strict parenting is what cause her daughter’s death also. The reality of this entire ordeal is that this little girl died in Baltimore surrounded by some triffling, ghetto, and despicable pieces of shit that never cared about the child’s welfare. However, people attack the mom because she is reflecting on her own pass encounters with the Barnes family. They say she is still bitter over Russell Barnes. Why would she be? In fact it was Janice who encouraged her child to  get to know her father’s side of the family, because she wanted the kid to be well-rounded, complete, and not have to wonder about that part of her life. This clearly demonstrates that she had put the past behind her and didn’t allow the physical abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of the child’s father hinder her daughter from having a relationship with the other half of her family. Janice loved her daughter and everything she did concerning this child was carefully considered to impact Phylicia’s own personal development. She said Russell Barnes tried to beat Phylicia out of her while she carried the child during her pregnancy. In my mind a person who can forgive that kind of abuse for the sake of her child’s development, is illustrative of a character rarely displayed, and further depicts why the child was headed toward such a promising future. People should get it straight. Janice Sallis-Mustaf and her real dad Raheem Mustafa raised an incredible human being, whose life was cut down by heartless, cowardice, and demonic monsters who took advantage of the child’s innocence. In no way are this child’s parents responsible for her death. Moreover, these kinds of comments aren’t new, as individuals connected with the Barnes family have been cloaking in forums and blogs like the true cowards that they are. If they aren’t guilty of anything why not identify yourselves and stand behind what you have to say? I have come to know the Mustafa family as god fearing people, and those responsible for killing their beautiful child should simply be glad that they are, because had it been my child, there wouldn’t be a rock within the entire universe that these bastards could crawl back under to keep me from getting to them.

A Fearless And Tenacious Quest For Justice: Phylicia Barnes’ Mom Opens Up With Both Barrels And Comes Out Swinging On Barnes Family In Wake Of Johnson Arrest

Janice Sallis-Mustafa, the mother of the late Phylicia Simone Barnes emerges after the arrest of Michael Johnson for her murder, who was the pretty honors teen's older half-sister's boyfriend, and comes out swinging to let the American Public know she is not done yet fighting for justice in her daughter's murder case.

Her voice had fallen silent and the public wondered where Janice Sallis-Mustafa had gone. Media outlets couldn’t contact her and it seemed as if the once grieving mother had vanished, and resolved to seclusion to cope with the murder of her late honors student child.  Just a few days ago Baltimore Police arrested Michael Johnson for the pretty child’s murder, and just when it the public thought the case was heading toward it’s conclusion, the fierce and fiery South Chicago native emerged readied for the second round in finding justice for her precious Phylicia Simone Barnes. In an exclusive 3 1/2 hour interview she made it clear that she hadn’t gone anywhere while citing her refusal to talk to media because,”If you’re not going to say what I said, then I don’t want to talk to you”. Janice pointed out that the media has been continuously rewording her comments, and she doesn’t like that. “I don’t care to be in the spot light on the news. I just want justice for my child”. Her statement came on the heels of having been informed that the social media public has been inquiring as to what she had to say after Michael Johnson had been arrested. Janice said the news was 50/50 in her mind simply because she feels the Barnes family has a lot of missing pieces in her daughter’s murder case. She made it clear that she wants Deena Barnes to go to jail and spend more time than Michael Johnson. Janice said, “Deena will get hers at the most joyous time of her life”, referring to Deena Barnes as a vicious person, and confirming for the first time that Deena was also captured in images that police obtained from Michael Johnson’s cellphone with 16-year-old Phylicia streaking nude with grown men. The now rejuvenated mother declined to confirm how she discovered that Deena also ran around nude, and indicated there remained particulars about the case still not made public. Janice held no punches while saying that the tragic story that ended her child’s life was like the folk tale of “Cinderella”, calling the Barnes kids “The wicked half-siblings”. Janice refused to even acknowledge her ex-husband’s children as Phylicia’s brother and sisters, indicating “real family wouldn’t have done that to their baby sister”. Janice posed a question to Deena saying, “Should I have been babysitting you Deena”? Janice said Deena Barnes is stupid , and “if she knew that she couldn’t be responsible in caring for a teenage child because of her lifestyle, then she should have left Phylicia in North Carolina”. I asked Janice specifically about  the text cops say Michael exchanged with Phylicia, She said Phylicia “must have been erasing her text messages, because I would periodically monitor her cell”. Janice pointed out that Phylicia was like any other teen girl who wanted her own privacy, but Janice said she was a proactive mom and she called verizon to have certain features changed on her daughter’s phone. “When I pay the bill for your phone their is nothing that you can hide from me”. Janice confirmed that it was her oldest daughter Shauntel Sallis that Phylicia confided in when the child became concerned that a male had made a pass at her. We have since learned that the person had come on to Phylicia was in fact Michael Johnson. In a recent article on TPC I have expressed that the details surrounding Phylicia’s discomfort around Michael may have been a missed opportunity to snatch the child out of Baltimore. Janice confirmed that it was. She said though she has “tried to make her children’s life comfortable for them no matter where they are”, she admits she “would have missed time from work to travel to Baltimore to get Phylicia”. I could feel the emotions emerging in Janice Sallis-Mustafa as it appeared she fought back displaying the hurt she and her family have been enduring while discussing her late daughter, but her strength overcame sadness, and she was relentless in expressing her disdain for everyone who had harmed her baby. At one point in the interview Janice began singing “here comes the bride”, referencing Michael Johnson. She said she hopes he becomes “somebody’s bitch in prison”, indicating that she wants him to “feel the real fear that he put Phylicia through when he raped her”. I expressed to Janice that cops never said Michael raped her, and asked if those were facts that were going to come out in the trial. Janice said, “Why else would he kill her. What was his reason? What other reason would he have to kill her”. I didn’t pursue that discussion any further for obvious reasons. Though Janice feels Michael and possibly his younger brother Glenton “Bootz” Johnson were the individuals that actually “raped and killed” her daughter, like most within the public she feels that Deena Barnes is responsible. Janice said she believes that the murder of Phylicia was planed, that Phylicia was the victim of child exploitation, and that she wouldn’t doubt it if the conspiracy she believes resulted in the demise of her child came at the behest of the child’s own father, Russell Barnes. Janice began to paint a vicious perspective in the entire case. She pointed out  that Deena Barnes continuously wanted “Simone” in Baltimore, that Deena had paid for every plane ticket for Phylicia when she traveled to Baltimore to visit (a fact that wasn’t known by the public), and Janice even admitted that she wondered if Deena wanted to have a “Threesome” (sex) with Michael and Phylicia”. She simply didn’t understand why Deena allowed Phylicia to run around nude with them. Janice explained that some woman “will do anything to please a man”, but Janice believes Phylicia’s killing runs deeper than that. She talked about how Russell Barnes’ cousin Saundra Barnes had publicly  spoken out against him, and shared with me the brutality and cruelty she suffered at the hands of Russell Barnes (much of which Saundra Barnes was aware of personally). Janice described an incident that occurred while married to Russell, when she was 9 months pregnant with Phylicia, and there wasn’t any food in the house at all. “”David I mean absolutely nothing”. Janice said Russell Barnes threw 14 single one dollar bills on the table and said,”if you’re gonna get food you have to walk to get it”. She explained how long of a distance you have to travel in the rural south to get to the grocery, she said she walked miles struggling to carry four heavy bags that day, stopping about every five minutes, and when she finally made it home Russell laughed at her for being mad. Janice said her emotions while being pregnant got the best of her and she attacked Russel. Janice said Russell bitch ass called the cops on her, a nine month pregnant mom with another small child. That wasn’t the only physical confrontation Janice said she had with Russell Barnes. She discussed another encounter in which she literally stabbed Russell to get him off of her. Janice said he was such a “piece of shit’. I explained to Janice that some within the public believes she is still bitter over her bad relationship with Russell, but Janice made it known that her troubles with Russell Barnes was nearly 20 years ago, and that’s when she began to connect the dots regarding Russell’ possible involvement in Phylicia’s murder. Past TPC articles depicted how Janice described being beat by Russell in an attempt to cause her to have a miscarriage because he didn’t want Phylicia, the family secret that revealed Russell having another child by her former best friend, and a fact Russell’s kids Bryan, Kelly, and Deena were not aware of. Janice said she revealed the secret love child of Russell Barnes to his cousin Harry Watson and Deena Barnes. When Russell learned that Janice had mentioned his hidden child to his family, he called Janice and threatened her life. Janice said she believe Russell was so enraged about it that he punished Phylicia for it. “Russell knew the only way he could get to me was through my baby”. Janice and I talked about the plane tickets Deena purchased for Phylicia, the drugs and alcohol, the “streaking” nude incidents, the fact that neither of the child’s siblings checked on her the day she went missing, the cover up with the police, and the most disturbing fact is when Russell himself told Michael Johnson to disappear. Janice said, “it might have even been a hit”. While the public struggled with all of the unknowns and why didn’t they do this or that questions, Janice creates a perspective that is supported by the lack of proper care the child received her entire stay in Baltimore. “They never really cared about her”, Janice said. Janice admitted that the slow process in arresting those responsible for Phylicia’s murder was done at her request. “I told the police to take their time because Simone isn’t coming back so why rush. I want to get them all”, she said. Janice went on to say that Phylicia was a “naive country girl” who was coerced by Deena and her friends. “In this day in age what teenager is gonna get the permission of an adult to use drugs and alcohol and turn it down”. Janice said the nudity Phylicia was involved in was influenced by the drugs and alcohol Deena and others gave the child. Janice continuously expressed that she believes Deena gave Phylicia drugs from her job. That’s a perspective the mom has always conveyed and something I personally wonder if it derives from Phylicia’s toxicology testing results that haven’t been made public. Janice went on to say while elevating her voice that, “Phylicia is not going to take her clothes off for a man. That is just not her character”. As Janice’ anger became more apparent she called Deena Barnes a “dead rat”. “That heifer is not innocent by a long shot. Deena is the one who is responsible for Simone’s demise”. Janice has never hidden her discuss for Deena Barnes from the very beginning when she made it known that Deena lied to her about who would be staying at her apartment while Phylicia was there, which is another aspect of the case that Janice believes was a part of what just maybe a conspiracy to kill her precious daughter. Janice also said she believes the Barnes siblings may have had envy toward Simone. “At one point Deena probably once was the pretty one and then here comes Simone”. Janice had harsh words for Kelly Barnes also. “How are you going to have an engagement (the planned hair appointment and shopping for beauty supplies), Simone doesn’t answer the phone, and you don’t go over there. A light bulb should have gone on”. Janice is not alone on her perspective regarding Kelly. Why Kelly Barnes who said she got off early, didn’t go by the apartment to check on Phylicia has been the most asked question by the public. Janice reminded me that a co-worker of Kelly’s commented on TPC Blog last year that Kelly didn’t even come to work that day, a fact that has yet to be confirmed.  More and more as Janice and I talked i noticed a pattern in everything that occurred leading up to Phylicia’s disappearance and subsequent death. It’s almost as if they knew what Michael was going to do to Phylicia. The fact that the only day she is left alone Michael pounced on her speaks volumes.. Did they know what was coming? Janice points out that her very observing daughter Shauntel Sallis, noticed Deena Barnes was extremely nervous, and that her hands were shaking the night they arrived in Baltimore to look for Simone. Janice said that Shauntel also discovered that Deena and Michael continued to text each other throughout the entire ordeal while a young Phylicia Simone Barnes had gone missing. Janice said, “Deena dangled my baby in front of that vicious wolf and he was salivating for six month about Simone before she came to Baltimore”.  Janice wants Michael Johnson to talk and tell the entire story. She said, Michael was dumb for leaving the nude pictures on his cellphone while the cops were investigating the case, but she and I also discussed that Michael may have been clever in doing so, because it would ultimately lead back to Deena Barnes in the event that he was collared for the child’s death. Also, Michael’s intercepted calls by the police in which he described fleeing the U.S. to avoid prosecution tends to imply that he wasn’t the only person involved. I won’t disclose that perspective Janice and I shared, in fear that is may jeopardize the case. However, Janice had more to say about the Barnes family and her comments came as a complete shock to me. I talked with Janice how the prosecutors revealed information about the case when Johnson’s indictment was unsealed, and much of what was said during the bail hearing had already been made public during my interview with Bryan Barnes. Janice then said, “I’m glad you mentioned Bryan Barnes because Simone didn’t even like him. While I was talking with a friend I remembered something Simone said to me before she left for Baltimore the last time. Simone said Mommie I’m going to buy everybody a Christmas gift except Bryan, and I asked her why she said that. Simone said I don’t like him, because he called me a ‘cum stain’. I said he called you a what? She said a ‘cum stain’, sperm. I said to her I know what a ‘cum stain’ is”. Janice says she now realizes that “none of the Barnes siblings were a good influence on her daughter”. So they shouldn’t act like she meant so much to them. Janice also said the fact that Arlene Barnette and Bonnie Briscoe continue to say, “my granddaughter and my niece”, is very upsetting to her. “Those demonic looking bitches, how dare you claim to be apart of my family tree. She said the only blood relatives that Simone has on the Barnes entire family are Russell’s half-brother Sgt. Jackson and the “wicked half-siblings” Bryan, Deena, and Kelly Barnes.  Janice hopes that the truth all comes out regarding who did what, how it all happened, and she even wants to know the extent of how Phylicia suffered. Janice also says that Danisha McIntosh “sickens me”. I shared with her that Danisha, who was the female who tweeted, “It’s trapped at the damn. don’t pull the lever” months before Phylicia’s body was actually found at the Conowingo damn, who is also widely believed to have pertinent details about the case, was a beautiful, promising and up and coming female just like Phylicia. Janice says she doesn’t see Danisha as beautiful, “I look at a person’s inner beautiful and Danisha is ugly on the inside.  I believe once Janice receives all of the  details about what happened to her daughter, then and only then will she began to have some degree of closure. They may have taken her beautiful daughter from her, but her spirit is as fierce as ever, and she is up to the task in finding justice for Phylicia Barnes. This Thursday night followers of the Phylicia Barres murder case can listen, and discuss the killing of Phylicia along with Janice Sallis-Mustafa on WBRG “The Bridge” on Blogtalk Radio from 9:00 – 11:00 EST.
